My first film...

It's horrible, but sort of amusing in its hideousness. I haven't figured out how to use any proper editing software, and though everyone always talks up Mac's great video editing, iMovie sucks. It's like ClarisWorks, if any of you are old school Mac users...

Still, considering I was just screwing around with the camera on my phone (only 2 megapixels!), it could have been worse... Maybe? Hopefully.

I'm working on it. Give me a few months and hopefully I'll have made something I can be proud of...

Okay-right off I offer you high praise for promoting best tube practices. Pay attention, maladjusted Londoners: let departing passengers fully exit onto the platform before you cram your too too solid flesh onto that overcrowded Victoria line carriage.

I enjoyed the frantic, Jason Bourne-esque navigation through tube tunnels in pursuit of, so it seemed, a well-chosen stocky bald man in a menacing black trench--all the hallmarks of a modern, self-aware Hollywood spy epic cpmplete with choppy camera pans.

Cuts to the protagonist's colorful stockings and a bit too-purposeful shadowing lent the pursuer a touching humanity and fleshed out (or so I thought) the film's quickly escalating plotline: rookie spy inadvertently drawn past her depth.

When, in fact, the soundtrack-spurred chase reveals itself to be no more than a full-speed downward spiral to a waiting platform, sans nick of time train dashing, I enjoyed your film all the more.

And how could I not be charmed? You tricked me into seeing fast-paced thriller when in fact something far more familiar--the "rush to quagmire" storyline familiar to every Londoner trying beat the crowds home from work--was playing itself out.

Perhaps dwelling a bit over-long on blank walls, but that's really my only critique of a film done via phone!

Given the song, I think it might have been fun to end the film before the train came.

Also - made me miss the hell out of London.
